Net Zero Living, Redefined in South Bangalore
Mahindra Zen marks Mahindra Lifespaces' next big sustainability milestone after Mahindra Eden. Located at Manipal County Road, off Hosur Road in Singasandra, this is Bengaluru's 1st Net Zero Waste + Energy residential project, following the success of Mahindra Eden which was India's first Net Zero Energy residential development.
The project is spread across a 4.25-acre parcel, and has an IGBC pre-certified platinum rating, comprising of over 200 bespoke homes, with two towers offering over 60% open spaces, set 60 meters apart, offering residents enhanced privacy and unobstructed views of Begur Lake and Basapura Lake. Each tower rises to G+25 floors, giving residents skyline views over South Bangalore's rapidly developing IT corridor.
Design at Mahindra Zen draws from nature itself. The project offers 'nature-crafted living' with features inspired by Earth, Fire, Wind, Water, and Air such as an urban forest, solar-powered working pods and a symphony corner, alongside a climate-responsive design with solar-powered amenities and low-flow sanitaryware for resource conservation.
Homes come in 3, 3.5 and 4 BHK configurations, built with vitrified tile flooring and oil-bound distemper finishes. The project incorporates an RCC frame structure, with a green design that uses low-VOC walls and ceiling emulsion paint to maintain low indoor AQI, as well as high-SRI roof paint to lower indoor temperatures. On launch, the project saw strong buyer interest, with reports of homes booked within days of launch.
