Mahindra Lifespace Developers Limited has been appointed as the preferred partner for the redevelopment of two residential societies in the Lokhandwala Complex, Andheri West, Mumbai, with a project value of approximately ₹1,200 crore. This puts the development among the larger redevelopment mandates the company has secured in the city.
The project will be pursued under the state's cluster development scheme, a mechanism that allows multiple adjoining societies to be merged and rebuilt together, typically resulting in larger footprints, wider open spaces, and more efficient building design than piecemeal single-society redevelopments.
The redevelopment site is strategically located 15 minutes from the upcoming Versova-Bandra Sealink, providing excellent connectivity to other parts of the city. The area is also witnessing robust development of social and leisure infrastructure, including the upcoming coastal road.

As the project is currently at the preferred-partner stage, detailed unit configurations, tower plans and pricing are yet to be officially released.

Mahindra Lokhandwala is at the redevelopment planning stage; final unit sizes and pricing for the freesale component will be announced closer to launch. Based on typical Lokhandwala Complex redevelopment formats, the project is expected to offer 2 and 3 BHK residences.
