Mansarovar, Jaipur

Mansarovar is one of southwest Jaipur's most recognisable addresses. It is a large, JDA-planned residential colony in southwest Jaipur (PIN 302020), developed from the late 1970s and, until 2010, reckoned Asia's largest colony, spread over about 12.28 sq km across nine sectors, and it falls under Jaipur Municipal Corporation's civic administration. Decades of planned development have given the locality wide roads, organised sectors and a settled character that newer areas are still building towards.

What sets Mansarovar apart is its self-sufficiency. It anchors the western terminus of Jaipur Metro's Pink Line, opened in June 2015, and is largely self-sufficient with schools, hospitals, markets, banks, an ISKCON temple, the 52-acre City Park, and a RIICO industrial area, making it one of Jaipur's most established and actively traded mid-segment residential markets. Residents rarely need to travel across the city for daily needs.

The locality also sits right next to Ajmer Road, one of Jaipur's key growth corridors leading out towards NH8. This adjacency has pulled large-format developments closer to Mansarovar, including Mahindra's own footprint in the region - Mahindra World City, built near NH8 (Jaipur-Ajmer highway) and spread over an area of 3000 acres.
